This online privacy notice discloses Mind Escape Vibe’s information practices, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested in order to become a member of the Mind Escape Vibe community, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
Web Site Transactions
At times, Mind Escape Vibe will need personal information regarding a customer. For example, to process an order or provide a subscription to the Mind Escape Vibe community, we may need to know a customer’s name, mailing address, email address and credit card details. It is our intent to inform you before we collect personal information, such as username and/or address on the Internet. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes.
Personal Information That May Be Collected
In order to access designated subscriber services with the Mind Escape Vibe community, we will request a user to provide certain personal identifying information, which may include: name, postal address, email address, screen name, password, telephone number, method of payment, and, if applicable, credit card number. We may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain your account.
Information From Children
Mind Escape Vibe does not collect or maintain information from users actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of Mind Escape Vibe is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.
Comments
If you participate in the Mind Escape Vibe community by leaving a comment in a chat room, discussion forum, or post messages on the site, you should be aware that the information disclosed and shared will be broadly available to other members of the or maintain information from users actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of Mind Escape Vibe is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13. Community who have access to that chat room, forum, or on the site in general. When you leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to a customer's browser from a Web server and is stored on the computer's hard drive. Mind Escape Vibe uses cookies to provide easier site navigation. Mind Escape Vibe can still be used if customer's browser is set to reject cookies. The cookies are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Web Beacon Technologies
Mind Escape Vibe may also use Web beacon or other technologies to better tailor its site(s) to provide better customer service. If these technologies are in use, when a visitor accesses these pages of the site, a non-identifiable notice of that visit is generated which may be processed by Mind Escape Vibe or by its suppliers. Web beacons usually work in conjunction with cookies. If customer does not want cookie information to be associated with customer's visits to these pages, customer can set its browser to turn off cookies; however, Web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages, but the notices they generate cannot be associated with other non- identifiable cookie information and are disregarded.
Collection of Non-Identifiable Information
Mind Escape Vibe may collect non-identifiable information from user visits to the Mind Escape Vibe site(s) in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on the Mind Escape Vibe site(s); Web site and system administration; user analysis; and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as "clickstream data." Mind Escape Vibe™ or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who We Share Your Data With
If in the future when login and portals are available, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
The information you provide to Mind Escape Vibe may also be collected, used, analyzed, and/or processed by us or selected third parties on our behalf, for marketing and other business purposes.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Commitment to Online Security
Mind Escape Vibe works to protect the security of customer personal information during transmission by employing software which uses industry standard encryption technology for the information that customers and prospects input.
No Liability for Acts of Third Parties
Mind Escape Vibe will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of customer personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, Mind Escape Vibe shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of Mind Escape Vibe including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of Mind Escape Vibe™ staff and/or third parties.
Changes to Privacy Policy
This privacy notice was last updated on April 13, 2023. Mind Escape Vibe reserves the right to update its privacy policy statement at any time and may do so without any notice to you other than by posting it on the Mind Escape Vibe site. Your continued use and access of the Mind Escape Vibe site is your acceptance of Mind Escape Vibe privacy policy.
Opt-Out Right
You have the right at any time to cease permitting personal information to be collected, used or disclosed by Mind Escape Vibe and/or by any third parties with whom Mind Escape Vibe has shared and/or transferred such personal information. Right of cancellation may be exercised by contacting Mind Escape Vibe via e-mail at renii@mindescapevibe.com. After processing the cancellation, Mind Escape Vibe will delete customer or prospective customer's personal information from its data base.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Corrections and Changes to Personal Information
Help Mind Escape Vibe to keep customer personal information accurate. If your personal information changes, or if you notes an error upon review of customer information that Mind Escape Vibe has on file, please promptly e-mail Mind Escape Vibe at renii@mindescapevibe.com and provide the new or correct information.
Your California Privacy Rights
Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of Mind Escape Vibe who are California residents to request certain information regarding Mind Escape Vibe’s disclosure of personal information for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please write to: Renii Modisette at renii@mindescapevibe.com. Within 30 days of receiving such a request, Mind Escape Vibe will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. Mind Escape Vibe™ reserves its right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the address specified in this paragraph.
